Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Can manually do that, but if you want to go that route, you should probably also incorporate adding that task automatically during setup, if it's not already there, obviously letting the user know. You should also have it bypass UAC, and auto-run as admin this way. If you do this, please let me know...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
In the middle of this crash right now (I set affinity to 1 CPU so my system is responsive) From what I can tell, this is *definitely* a .NET related issue. All the information below was gathered using Process Explorer, during the crash. (Process was restarted, and checked again for comparisons) .NET...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Hey Rob,
would you like me to make another thread for the other high CPU crash, (the one where several items take up CPU, as opposed to just P2R?), or do you want to just keep that one on this thread as well?

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
I spoke too soon! The crash where P2R uses as much CPU as it can get just happened on my file server now too. Aside from Comodo, and Windows 10, there's not a lot of similarities between these two machines, so as a test, I've added P2R's installation directory to my exclusions on my main computer (a...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Warrior, are you running P2R as admin in Windows 7? I ask because in at least one other post, you had issues when running without elevation. running as admin is something i've yet to try.

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
today I got the crash that has P2R eating all the CPU by itself. I changed it's affinity to sit on a single core, and issued a command... This is (strangely enough) NOT a hung state, as the app still receives, and processes commands. secure shopping is definitely not the cause of this, since i disab...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
I'll try that, but I never actually use secure shopping, so I doubt that's the cause. I've also got a list of running (Non-MS) services, if you'd like a copy of that list as well?

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
actually, I am getting both crashes, but that is very observant of you warrior. lol The crash I had yesterday happens more rarely than the one where P2R itself eats up CPU. In fact, I've only seen it once or twice through this whole ordeal. I did the manual check for updates, and there was no crash....

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Speaking of that particular crash, I just experienced it again... (the one where everything goes haywire, and apps fight for CPU) The following apps were affected, and were fighting over CPU time, pushing my CPU to max: Comodo Internet Security Google Chrome Discord Steam Windows explorer (explorer....

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
It's weird that it sometimes does that. Not at all sure why it would happen that way. On those crashes, P2R takes up little, or no CPU, but killing it always restores my system to normal. Getting more info on those particular crashes might be difficult, because limiting P2R in those cases probably w...
