Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
no, but I do use a program called Process Lasso. It's one of the several programs affected by P2R's crashing. (It's one of the apps who's CPU jumps up to max, on relevant crashes.)

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Weird thing is I'm not 100% sure it's actually hanging. I haven't actually tested whether it accepts google commands, while in this state. I grabbed process monitor. what I'll do is next time it happens, I'll use task manager to change it's affinity to a single core, restoring responsiveness. (I don...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
Got the chance to test it over the last 2 days. Worked fine, until this morning. Removing the garbage collection was probably a good idea, as it doesn't make the RAM usage go up very much at all. But... this morning, I found it eating as much CPU as it could again. I didn't have time to troubleshoot...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
That's fine. Might not get testing results until sometime next week though, cuz i'm likely not going to be available through the weekend, starting Thursday. Thanks for all the effort!

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
After a few days of testing, it happened again, just as before with the havoc wreaking... unresponsive system, with CPU usage steady at 100%. I opened task manager, and found 6-7 different (seemingly random) apps eating as much CPU as they could, while P2R claimed to only be using 2.6% CPU. On a hun...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
And with two different versions of the .net framework above 4.5. 4.6.2 (you) and 4.8 (me) to recount, this happens on idle for long periods of time (hours or days). So far, it doesn't actually seem like there is an outside program causing it, as this has now happened on my machine with no screensave...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
In my case, i'm using .net 4.8 which is part of Windows 10 features (Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows features on/off) The download in that link just tells me a newer version is installed.

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
P2R did it again to me today. Went to sleep, and when I returned, it was eating up as much CPU as it could. This is without the telemetry running in the background. In order to make my system responsive, so I could investigate, I manually changed the app's affinity to the last CPU core. Investigatin...

Re: Push2Run 2.2 very high CPU usage
That's exactly what happened with me the very first time I noticed it. I've recently rebooted my machine a few different times for updates, and restarted P2R on he last boot, which was less than 24 hours ago. I'll leave it running with telemetry disabled, and make some more observations. More troubl...
