There is a setting in cpanel (if you use cpanel) where you can force all calls to your domain to go to either www.domainname.com or just domainname.com. Can't remember exactly where the setting is, but I know it's there, cuz I use it for mine to force it to be without the www

In CPanel ....

Domains ==> Redirects ==> 301 Permanent

It mods the .htaccess file

cookie domain is set to www.push2run.com

re the original problem on high cpu, Push2Run is created with the help of a tool called eazfuscator - which obfuscates the code so that basically others can't copy the source code. They just came out with a new release so in the very unlikely case that there is a bug associated with eazfuscator which has been fixed in their upgrade, I've created a new beta with it.

If you want to try it to see if it makes an improvement you can get it here

Ahhh - That's why he's getting logged out when not using the www in front.

You could try it with just a leading dot, and no www.

Users would (possibly) be logged out but after relogging back in, it would be ok for both then.

Re the new Beta version - Thanx Rob !

I stay logged in still.

I logged out, cleared cookies, logged back in - all good. (For me anyway)

well - it looks like that wasn't the way to approach the cookie issue. I could not log on from my browser (chrome) after a reboot. I needed to log on from another browser (firefox) all together. I then had to clear my cookies in chrome and reset the phpbb to its original www.push2run settings before I could log on from chrome again. I will be leaving the system the way it is for now. However, phpbb just released a new version so I may upgrade to it soon.

Didn't really need to change the cookie. I just wasn't paying attention to where the autocomplete was going lol

I've grabbed the new beta, and installed it. I'll let you know the results in a few days, after testing.

Helping to make the world a better place is an honorable task.. I always aim to better myself, and help others to do the same :)
