Command(1).txt Command(2).txt

Post by CanFodder »

Hi there,

I have had a google home routine set up for a while now to open 4 programs through push2run using one command. This used to work flawlessly but recently when i try to use it only 2 out of the four programs open. Iv noticed that in my dropbox folder the command.txt file is not being deleted before the new file comes in so im getting command(1).txt being created which doesn't get picked up at all by push2run.
Is there some way i can fix this? I tried adding a delay in my routine but it didn't seem to help.

Thanks for any input.

Hi CanFodder,

My guess is one of the following three posts below (and most likely the first one) will have a solution to your problem:

https://www.push2run.com/phpbb/viewtopi ... edat#p2272

https://www.push2run.com/phpbb/viewtopi ... .txt#p2162

https://www.push2run.com/phpbb/viewtopi ... .txt#p2236

If not, please let me know.

Hi there,
Thank you for your reply. Strangely i have been unable to reproduce my issue today after struggling trying to figure it out all night.
Today, I am still getting the files created as command(1).txt etc however push2run seems to be queuing them up and reading them then deleting them one by one which is great!

I honestly have no clue as to why it wasn't working. I checked through all my ifttt commands and they are set up as you mentioned in the links above. I also made sure everything is running as admin etc but i have made no changes from when it was not working yesterday to when it is working today.

In any case, Thank you very much for your help and for your amazing app. I will report back in the future if this should reoccur but for now its all perfect.
