When enabling the option to write the log to disk, if I click on the button to change the log file location, it just opens a standard file explorer window, instead of a file selection dialogue. Because of this, I see no way to change the location via the GUI. Is there a settings file I can edit manually?
I'm using version 4.5 on Windows 10 Pro

You cannot change the location of the session log, this is by design.
The same is true of the settings and database files.

so that button is just meant to open the log folder... ok. My mistake.

Well, to be honest, the Options window could have been clearer.
I've just added a comment to the Options - Setting log window similar to that on the Options - Settings and Database window to indicate the Session log location and filename cannot be changed. This will be part of the next release (whenever that may be).
