Hi, the cast program fails me very often, usually after 4 or 5 uses, with the classic window:

I'm using the Cast program in version 1.4 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
It also happened with the previous version of cast but with less frequency.
I close the error window, then the program works in various requests to start the program,
and also works for some times even if there are open windows of error, then it is forced to close
the error windows in order to continue using the program.

Do you have any ideas and solutions about this?

Thanks for your availability and help.

Hi, thanks for reporting this.

Unfortunately, I have only tested cast on Windows 10, and haven't seen that error there.

Also, I tried to search for the error - 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 - in relation to Windows 7 but it seems to be some generic thing, with many different applications reporting it in Windows 7

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/sea ... ndows_7//1

a google search turned up the same.

I also looked for CLR20r3 and had the same general results.

But searching for both CLR20r3 and 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 I found a higher concentration of posts relating to potential problems with Micorsoft's dot net framework.

Cast uses version 4.6.2 of the dot net framework, so I would suggest you try downloading and installing it from here:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/d ... ime/net462

Also, it appears if you are running Windows 7 you need to ensure you have at least Windows 7 SP1 installed (SP1 = Service Pack 1, for more info you may want to google that).

But in short, just try downloading and installing 4.6.2 of the dot net framework as above, and hopefully, that will correct the issue.
